Dennis-Jonathan Mann holds a Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) and a Master of Research (MRes) degree from the European University Institute in the Political & Social Sciences and a Magister Artium (MA) degree from University of Bonn (Germany) in Political Science, Media Studies and Corporate Law. He also studied Political Science, Communication & Journalism and Spanish at University of New Mexico (USA) as well as Law at University of Cologne (Germany).

Dennis-Jonathan has been a postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Political Science Department at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in 2012 and 2013. From 2008 to 2012, he was a doctoral researcher in the Department of Political & Social Sciences at the EUI. He further has been a global visiting scholar at New York University (Fall semester 2010) as well as an adjunct lecturer at University of Bonn (Master-level, 2011-2012).

Dennis-Jonathan is currently working for the Federal Government of Germany.
